Since April 2024, Medical Products Research Srl has formally embarked on an ESG pathway, undergoing an independent third-party assessment to evaluate its sustainability performance. The company has adopted a three-year Road Map for 2024–2026 and has implemented actions to reduce CO₂ emissions, prevent and combat corruption, manage personal and corporate data confidentially, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work environment — in the interest of its personnel and in support of its corporate Mission. The company’s commitment is outlined in the Sustainability Policy and is certified by independent organizations.
Since 2018, we adhered to the voluntary UNI EN ISO 14001 standard by implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS) aimed at improving all company activities that may impact the environment. The EMS is designed to ensure, through Planning, Implementation, Monitoring, and Direct Action, that environmentally impactful operations are properly managed and that potential opportunities for the company’s future are leveraged—fully aligned with the continuous improvement process outlined in the international standard and in MPR’s Environmental Policy.
For us, sustainability means considering environmental impact at every stage of the production cycle — from concept development to distribution.
Our commitment is reflected in measurable practices that are implemented across all levels of the organization.
In 2023, we assessed our carbon footprint following the GHG Protocol guidelines, identifying a limited direct impact (Scope 1 and 2), primarily due to the adoption of electric heat pumps and a solar power system that decreases our energy use.

To ensure fairness and transparency in the conduct of its business activities—and to safeguard its reputation, position, and the expectations of its stakeholders, particularly its employees—MPR has adopted its own Code of Ethics.
The Code of Ethics reflects the ethical principles and values that define MPR’s identity and culture, and it serves as a guide for the conduct of all individuals working within the company or maintaining business relations with it.
MPR has also adopted and implemented its own organizational, management, and control model pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree no. 231 of June 8, 2001. This model consists of a General Section and a Special Section, structured according to different types of risk.
The model was developed in accordance with the provisions of the Decree, including its subsequent amendments, as well as the guidelines issued by Confindustria Dispositivi Medici (Italian association of medical device manufacturers). It is regularly updated by the company and its proper implementation and compliance are overseen by a Supervisory Body that meets the required standards of autonomy, independence, expertise, and continuity.
In line with the implementation of the Model 231, MPR has also introduced an internal whistleblowing platform, which provides a channel for reporting potential criminal, civil, or administrative offenses, in accordance with Legislative Decree 24/2023.
